After having started to equip service areas near motorways in France, the Fastned group announces that it is tackling fast charging in urban areas.
Two fast charging stations will be built in the south of Paris, Fastned, the newcomer to fast charging, announced today. This will be the first time that the group has developed stations outside the motorway axes, which will make electric mobility a little easier for those who cannot charge at home.
The 37th Fastned site in France will be in a peri-urban area
The Dutch group reports that this new establishment will mark the arrival of the thirty-seventh Fastned fast charging site in France, for an establishment which only began very recently. The real estate group Magidas & Ruimy has signed a contract with Fastned for the development of two fast charging stations, one near Melun, the other in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois.
300 kW for charging
With between eight and ten fast charging points for the two new stations, the ambition is to recharge several hundred electric vehicles per day, allowing them to recover up to 300 kilometers of autonomy in 15 minutes, recalls Fastned. Motorists will therefore have access to fast terminals with a power of 300 kW (at 800 volts).
The Country Manager of Fastned in France, Pierre Courgeon, declares: “We are delighted with this collaboration with the Magidas & Ruimy Immobilier group, which fully participates in Fastned’s ambition to associate French peri-urban areas with its European network. fast charging stations.
