Fatigue, stress, bloating: my spring detox to gain energy: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

In the best of all worlds, we shouldn’t have to do a “detox” cure: our body is quite capable of “de-clogging” itself. But our current lifestyle (diet, sedentary lifestyle, pollution…) can block this natural self-cleaning process. Spring is a good time to stimulate the organs that eliminate toxins. Please note, detox is contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women. If you suffer from a pathology and you are taking medical treatment, seek the advice of your doctor first.

Fatigue, stress, difficult digestion … Which tailor-made detox to choose?

Successful detox starts with becoming aware of what devitalizes you on a daily basis in order to better target the program to be implemented. Check off the statements you find yourself in.

  • 1. You wake up in the morning without energy (A)
  • 2. You have a disturbed transit, sometimes odorous gas (C)
  • 3. You are hyper stressed, under tension, and easily lose your footing (B)
  • 4. You are hyper sensitive, irritable, with sugar compulsions (D)
  • 5. Your nails are ridged and split, you have recurring skin problems (B)
  • 6. You often have bleeding gums and a white, mushy tongue when you wake up (A) 7. You suffer from muscle tension (D)
  • 8. You have pain in your trapezius and joints (B)
  • 9. You notice redness on the wings of your nose (C)
  • 10. You often feel a lump in your stomach, difficulty in breathing (D)
  • 11. You have dull skin, you are losing your hair… (A)
  • 12. You often have stomach ache after the meal (C)
  • 13. You consume products made from refined sugars (sodas, sweets, industrial cakes, etc.) more than four times a week (A)
  • 14. You tend to snack outside of meals and snacks (C)
  • 15. You drink at least four to five cups of coffee per day (B)
  • 16. You mainly eat plants, at least one in two meals (D)

Find out which detox suits you …

  • You have a majority of A: you are currently raplapla and running under-revving.
  • You have a majority of B: you are a real electric battery and waste your energy by waving in all directions!
  • You have a majority of C: you feel bloated and you have trouble digesting
  • You have a majority of D: you are on edge, often annoyed and on the defensive

My 3-phase detox program: how does it work?

While the fall detox favors the monodiet to relieve the intestinal sphere, the spring cure is, above all, oriented on the stimulation of the liver, organ of the season in Chinese medicine.

  • Phase 1 (3 weeks): opt for a hypotoxic diet (organic seasonal fruits and vegetables, no ultra-processed products, unrefined sugars and grains, steaming), and remember to hydrate yourself well.
  • Phase 2 (revitalization over 3 weeks): consume green vegetable juices, lacto-fermented products, fresh pollen very rich in B vitamins, to support post-detox hepatic action (often saturated).
  • Phase 3 (stabilization until summer): take care to limit oxidizing factors, such as excessive sunshine, tobacco, alcohol, physical or professional overwork. Natural antioxidants such as red fruits, goji berry, dried fruits, cocoa will be your best friends!

I am raplapla and running under diet (you have a majority of A)

Phase 1

Make a cure of fresh birch sap. Its complete composition (minerals, amino acids, etc.) cleanses and revitalizes the body without tiring it. Be careful to choose it “unpasteurized, neither flash-pasteurized, nor nano-filtered”. The right dosage: take between 150 ml and 250 ml of birch sap on an empty stomach (see manufacturer’s instructions) before breakfast.

The boost: Apply a hot water bottle to the liver area for 30 minutes after meals.

Phase 2

Carry out a marine plasma treatment in ampoules. Combine it with a cure of Eleutherococcus, a recovery activating plant, in infusion, preferably in the morning (2 to 4 g of dried root powder for 150 ml of boiling water).

Phase 3

Think about relaxation therapy, mindfulness meditation and cardiac coherence.

I am an electric battery and waste my energy waving in all directions! (you have a majority of B)

Phase 1

Opt for a dandelion decoction cure, for its powerful diuretic power to eliminate toxins.

The boost : the practice of a fractional sports activity, type Hiit, which allows to release tension and stress and to activate sweating for a better evacuation of toxins.

Phase 2

Stress is a great source of acidity, be sure to remineralize your body to maintain a good acid-base balance. For this, follow just like for the first profile, a marine plasma cure, associated with ashwagandha, an adaptogenic plant that will allow you to increase your resistance to stress and boost your energy. The right dosage: 350 mg 3 times a day, in capsules, preferably in the evening. Also remember to recharge your body with magnesium.

Phase 3

Practice square breathing and alternating breathing (pranayama) to relieve stress and anxiety.

I feel bloated and I digest badly (you have a majority of C)

Phase 1

If the intestines are “clogged” toxins tend to build up there. Three times a day, drink buckthorn or mallow herbal teas, then, as desired, marjoram, star anise, chamomile, wild chicory, liquorice or fennel. After, make a cure of fresh birch sap (see first profile), while making sure to increase your level of hydration.

The boost: Self-massage of the intestines, to be practiced in the morning on an empty stomach. With your hands flat on your stomach, apply light pressure all the way through your colon for 2 to 3 minutes.

Phase 2

Drink kombucha for its probiotic properties to reseed your intestinal flora (one to two glasses a day, to start), as well as infusions of dried nettle leaves for its remineralizing action on the bones.

Phase 3

Practice abdominal breathing as well as the Asana Low Torsion Lunge Yoga Pose daily (stay 7 full breaths on each side).

I’m on edge, often annoyed and on the defensive (you have a majority of D)

Phase 1

Your body is mentally and physically exhausted. Choose a milk thistle cure to gently protect and regenerate liver cells thanks to its active ingredient, silymarin.

The boost: Dry brushing, every day before your shower, from bottom to top, all over the body, with the exception of the face and sensitive areas (wounds, chest, etc.)

Phase 2

Combine decoctions of field horsetail with a diet enriched in tryptophan (brown rice, legumes, crucifers, dark chocolate, bananas …), precursor of serotonin secretion, neurohormone of serenity.

Phase 3

How about testing Bach flowers? Walnut is the flower of rebirth, ideal in spring. Mustard, in case of blues, helps to find lightness and inner cheerfulness. In mental rumination mode before going to sleep, drink herbal teas of passionflower, eschscholtzia, lemon balm or valerian and use essential oil of petit grain bitter orange (before sleeping massage your solar plexus with 2 drops mixed in 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil).
