Fault at the Sparkasse: This is what we know so far (Update: Fixed)

There was already a similar problem in February 2023. At that time, a faulty app update caused difficulties. However, both the Sparkasse’s iOS and Android apps were last updated in July, which is why the error is probably somewhere else this time. A system update may be to blame. Another X user reports that the error only occurs after the update to iOS 16.6.1.

However, the savings bank has not yet officially commented on the problems. We’ll keep you up to date and update the article as soon as there’s anything new.

Update 5:48 p.m.: The problem is said to have been resolved

Sparkasse Berlin has now commented on the problems. On X, the financial institution writes that there was a technical problem with the pushTan app. It is said to have been fixed by now.
