Fauve Hautot: “He has a thousand times his place”, this member of the jury whom she defends more than anything

Fauve Hautot, the star of Dancing with the stars who plays every Friday evening on TF1, still likes to participate in the show but is exploring other avenues to develop her career…

With Billy Crawford, are you leaving as winners?

FAUVE HAUTOT: Winners, I don’t know. It’s a matter of working and letting go. Billy comes from hip-hop and even if he’s a hard worker, he’s a very sweet boy. It will be necessary to work on the interpretation on more committed dances like the tango.

Departures of old, arrivals of new, the troop changes. Is it to spice up the season?

Some dancers are ten to thirteen years younger than me and I loved seeing that light mixed with apprehension in their eyes. And if it’s a little news that wins the trophy, it’s because it will have done a great job.

Last year, Bilal Hassani was dancing with a man. This season, Clémence Castel forms a duo of women. What inspires you?

It’s fabulous, it opens up choreographic perspectives. Life is represented on the screen by dance.

Bilal is part of the jury this year. What do you think of the criticisms he receives?

Bilal knows what a cha-cha-cha, a tango or a waltz is, it has a thousand times its place. And then, we are on a TV show, not on a pro competition!

We saw you in shows, TV movies but, after your victory with Tayc, you disappeared. Were you on a media diet?

There have been changes in my life. My situation did not suit me. I went on a road trip to New York, took dance lessons, found my basics and evolved.

To prepare for your outing?

It is the course of things. I am 36 years old and will turn to creation. For twelve seasons, I have lived incredible moments. But eventually, I will have other projects. Life is growing every day.
