“Felt 4 hours!” : Camille Combal opens up without filter on his daily life as a dad

This Friday, February 10, Camille Combal confided with humor but without filter on his daily life as a dad. A daily life that changes him and that is not always easy.

His daily life is no longer the same. This Friday, February 10, Camille Combal delivered on his ideal weekend … now quite hectic since he became a dad. Almost nine years ago, the host of TF1 became a father for the first time. His wife, the journalist Marie Treille Stefani gave birth last May to a little boy named Pio. A little one who makes his parents happy… but who has turned their daily lives upside down. Thus, a night owl time, Camille Combal now imposes a more classic rhythm. Nevertheless, he takes care not to stray too far from his group of friends. “I continue to meet my friends at the restaurant, at least once in the weekend. Head to Afendi, in the 10th, a Lebanese restaurant that serves excellent mezze and arak, an aniseed drink, or Polichinelle, in the 15th, Christophe Michalak’s vegetarian buffet“, he says in the columns of the Parisian Weekend.

And to clarify:With my darling, we love concerts. Orelsan, Angèle, Julien Doré are our latest favourites.” Above all, with the arrival of a baby in her life, Camille Combal must now (try to) be early. “I could wake up at noon no problem! But, since I have a family, I schedule an alarm clock or get pulled out of bed by my sonwho asks for a bottle“, she assures, before letting go with humor: “Last time was at 6am – felt like 4am!“Not being a fan of rides -“walk aimlessly, just to get some fresh air, I don’t see the point” -, Camille Combal is rather the type to stay at home, under a plaid, in front of a good series.

To be a father? “It’s hard. It changes everything” recognizes Camille Combal

For years, to flirt with her, I took her to see fashionable exhibitions. Now, I rather offer series, in cocooning mode, like White Lotus and Miskina“, he confides. The 41-year-old man even found a common sense tip : “For avoid conflictswe have a program for two and, when she falls asleep (often very quickly), I watch something solo, with fights and blood, which she can’t stand.” This is not the first time that Camille Combal has spoken about the difficulties of being a parent. “Those who tell you: ‘it’s cool, it changes your life’don’t listen to them, it’s hard. It changes everything. In the morning you get up, before you said: ‘So what’s going on at L’Equipe, did OM win?’ Now you have a layer full of mashed carrots to wash“, he let go with the humor that characterizes him at the microphone of the Ben Névert Show.
