(CercleFinance.com) – The Ferrero Group today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement under which it will acquire FULFIL Nutrition, a high-quality vitamin and protein bar company which sells its products directly in the United Kingdom and distributes in Ireland and other markets in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
The Ferrero Group plans to maintain and strengthen the authenticity of the FULFIL brand, while supporting the company and its distributors in innovation and expansion into new markets and category segments.
As part of the transaction, Ferrero Group will take over the portfolio of iconic brands and plans to retain management, distributors and employees of the business.
This transaction will allow Ferrero to grow in this healthier market segment, responding to ever-changing consumer needs and trends.
The transaction, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the coming months.
