For the second consecutive year, FC Lorient, represented by Atlantide Wave, won eLigue 1. Les Merlus dominated OM in the playoff final.

The years go by and look alike in eLigue 1. Crowned last year after a stunning final, FC Lorient wins the French championship again on FIFA 22. Opposed again to theOlympic Marseille in the final, the duo ofAtlantis Wave made up of Leandro “LJR Peixoto” Peixoto and Julien “Fouma” Perbal retains his title.

Unlike last year when the two struggled to win the final of the competition, they had it easier this year. In effect, they won 4/1 against the duo of Team BDS, Diogo “DPeixoto7” Peixoto and Samy “Samylumine” Bakthi. Little fun fact, LJR Peixoto won the winning point against his brother, DPeixoto, in the final meeting of this final.

This victory allows the FC Lorient to become the first club to win eLigue 1 twice consecutively and to already mark the history of this competition. Like last year, it’s the French legend Jean Pierre Papin who presented the trophy to the winners. See you next year for a new edition of eLigue 1 and perhaps a new trophy for FC Lorient. After all, never two without three.
