Fighting in pixel art with Final Vendetta

Beat ’em ups are clearly on the rise at the moment. The English studio Bitmap Bureau has therefore decided to take advantage of the wave with Final Vendetta. Published by Numskull Games, the arcade beat’em up will be available from June 17, 2022, and will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switch.

Final Vendetta is a beat’em up action game that takes up the basics of the classics of the genre. It also takes us back to the 80s and 90s with its pixel art graphics. The game takes you through the streets of London where the notorious Syndic8 gang is slowly taking over the capital and making the mistake of kidnapping Claire Sparks’ younger sister. Bad luck, Claire, an expert in martial arts, will do everything in her power to find her little sister, and will beat up anyone who tries to stop her. And she won’t be alone in this high-risk rescue operation. His two friends, Miller T. Williams, a former Canadian professional wrestler, and Duke Sancho, a great bare-knuckle fighter, will be there to lend him a hand.

The three characters of course each have their own panel of moves that you will have to learn to master. You will be able to find the usual mechanics of the genre, such as the possibility of parrying, dodging or even chaining combos on your opponents after sending them into the air.

If overall the fights will not give you gifts, you will still have the possibility of choosing between 3 difficulty modes. The game, playable solo or in 2, offers 6 levels to explore and 4 game modes, all on an original soundtrack punctuated by songs from Utah Saints, Featurecast and Krafty Kuts.
