The year 2024 has just begun and Square Enix will already communicate about one of its main releases expected in the coming months, the extension Dawntrail from Final Fantasy XIV. After the Fan Festival of Las Vegas last July then that of London in October, it is therefore in Tokyo that the last event of its kind will take place this Sunday January 7 and Monday January 8the time difference causing the awaited keynote will take place in the middle of the night. However, we will be standing by to provide you with the information that will be revealed there and which should be numerous. As a reminder, 7.0 will take us to the lands of Tural and will provide access to two Jobs unpublished, including the Viper Prowler (Viper), at launch, and subsequently at a Job limited as was the Blue Mage. We will therefore discover in a few hours the second, the release date and the traditional collector’s edition (unless there are any surprises), with potentially some additional information about the next series of Alliance raids baptized the Echoes of Vana’diel and more. A date for update 6.55, part two of Growing Light, should also be given, since it is scheduled for mid-January without further details (probably Tuesday 16). We can also expect to hear news about the collaboration with Final Fantasy XVIwhich should keep players busy between now and the launch of Dawntrail this summer, and why not details on the beta of the Xbox Series X|S version, although Japan is clearly not the target.
