“Le Monde” publishes five texts written and transmitted clandestinely by Iranian human rights activists. Four of them are incarcerated in Evin prison, the fifth was there in the past. Located in the north of Tehran, the establishment received many opponents of the protest movement which followed the death of Mahsa Amini in September 2022.
