Fleury Michon: its net profit divided by 3 in two years


(AOF) – During the first half of 2023, Fleury Michon recorded turnover increasing by +12.8% to 422.8 million euros compared to the first half of 2022. Sales from the GMS France division recorded an increase of +11.4% to 358.7 million euros. This growth is driven by the price adjustments applied since July 1, 2022, necessary to compensate for the inflationary shock observed since March 2022. Over this half-year, its net profit is 1.2 million euros compared to 3.6 million euros. euros two years ago.

The International division recorded growth of +15.2%. The airline catering activity continues its recovery after 2 years heavily affected by restrictions linked to Covid-19.

Current operating profit stood at 6.5 million euros during the first half of 2023 compared to -4.2 million euros during the first half of 2022.

Its current operating margin stood at 1.5% during the first half of 2023, compared to -1.1% in the first half of 2022. This clear improvement is mainly explained by the tariff adjustments which have only started to apply only from July 1, 2022
