Together, Flo Delavega and Jérémy Frérot made thousands of fans dream when they formed the duo Fréro Delavega. The siren song, Your face, Around me… Until 2017, the two friends multiplied the hits and everything seemed to have a bright future for them. But four years ago already, Flo made the decision to move away from the light and put an end to the Fréro Delavega adventure. A decision made "overnight" according to the journalist of the show Nice & good who, on Saturday March 6, 2021, broadcast on France 2 an interview with the 33-year-old singer, who is releasing a solo album. "Overnight, for the outside world … For me who was going through it, it was a long process", he explained, revealing the reasons that had made him choose. "The Fréro Delavega period, I was very exposed, I did not live in nature so it was extreme". Too much light, notoriety that made him want to move away: "And it's true that every time, I felt this call to want to be in the forest, to want to be alone, to be calm, to meditate, to be able to breathe… All these things that I didn't have time to do ".

But Flo is not the only one to have felt the call of nature. His former friend Jérémy Frérot also decided to leave the city of Marseille to settle in the Landes, the region where he grew up. The husband of Laure Manaudou had confided in February 2021 in the columns of Gala the reasons for this departure: “I couldn't get used to Marseille life. There, I had trouble getting into the customs, into the ways of being. In short, I didn't manage to fit in. But it is not the fault of the Marseillais, it is mine! ". In 50 'Inside on TF1, he revealed, still in February, that he had also made this choice for the well-being of his two sons: "I couldn't see myself doing anything other than coming back here, and educating my children in that environment. It's one of the best environments to grow up. I grew up there, and I was really happy, so I had to give that to my children ". The proof that even separated, Flo and Jérémy remain real "brothers".
