On Saturday evening (January 13th), presenter and singer Florian Silbereisen, 42, once again put the audience in a good mood at Erste with his show “Schlagerchampions 2024”. It was a special edition not only because the show has existed in its current form for exactly ten years – since 2014, according to GfK Entertainment, the most successful pop and folk musicians have been awarded the “One of the Best” prize in various categories .

What made for a particularly warm moment was the fact that Helene Fischer, 39, – Silbereisen’s ex-partner – was able to get two of the prizes and of course didn’t miss the opportunity to collect them personally. This was followed by a warm hug between the two and a beaming Fischer said: “It’s nice to be with you again!” The musician indicated that the two are still good friends with a personal invitation to herself and her partner Thomas Seitel: “You’ll come over for a coffee again, won’t you?”

The presenter even ended up in bed later in the evening – although not with Fischer, but in a duet with Beatrice Egli, 35. Together they performed their hit “Only we know that,” after which Silbereisen joked about the performance: “Then we have Now actually a little bed story.”

The other award winners

Helene Fischer received two awards at the “Schlagerchampions 2024” for the album “Rausch” and the associated live tour. With twelve awards now, she is the record winner. Close behind is Andrea Berg, 57, who collected prizes nine and ten on Saturday evening – as “Singer of the Year” and for the 13 number one album. Among the male artists, Howard Carpendale, 78, took home the award, Santiano was named “Band of the Year” and Vicky Leandros, 71, received a lifetime achievement award.
