Fog this weekend in Bordeaux: the impressive photos of a resident of the Innova tower

From his apartment on the 16th floor of the new Innova tower near Saint-Jean station, Pierre-Yves Guilard took pictures of the city shrouded in thick mist

From his home, in his duplex at 16 and 17and floors of the Innova tower, a recent building shared between offices and apartments, Pierre-Yves Guilard has an exceptional view in all weathers. At 360°, the views of the Belcier district but also of the Bordeaux-Floracaise right bank are impressive.

The tower of the building site of the school of the image, alone to float in the sea of fog.

“When we returned with my wife on Saturday at sunset, the panorama was even more formidable, with this fog which had enveloped the whole lower part of the city”, he says. Of course, it had to be immortalized. And that gives surreal snapshots that can be taken most often from the top of the ski slopes for the lucky ones who go there.

Hyperion Tower on the Sea of Mist

On one of the photos in the middle of a field of cranes (that of the Euratlantique perimeter), we can make out the recently completed Hyperion tower. On others, floats the sea of mist, the tower of the construction site of the future school of the image. No trace of the Simone-Veil school or the college under construction, drowned this weekend in this surreal fog. The return of the tower in contemporary town planning is sometimes decried: it shows there that it has prospects too.
