Ten years already Telegram exist ! To celebrate, the app is launching a new feature: Stories. Users will be able to easily share ephemeral video content, like on Instagram.
The Telegram messaging app has around 700 million monthly active users. Very appreciated around the world because of its ease of use, it updates regularly, and it only lacked the Stories to be really complete. The feature is now available.
A new way to share
Unlike other applications that have this same functionality, it will be possible for users to edit their Stories even after publication. No need then to delete them and republish them to be able to make a change, which is much more flexible in use.
Privacy settings can also be extensively configured. Users will be able to choose between entirely public sharing or for a restricted group of contacts. This freedom of customization gives more advanced control over the confidentiality of content posted online. It will also be possible to customize the display duration of Stories in advance, ranging from 6 to 48 hours. A space on each profile will even allow users to opt for a permanent display of their various creations. This new feature will also be compatible with several interactive elements: tags, legends or links.
Like the WhatsApp application, Telegram is getting up to date and meeting the needs of its large community of users. The arrival of this new feature will certainly delight people who love sharing their life moments live. Stories are available to everyone, without necessarily needing a premium account.
