“For me, it is …”: the radical position of Cyril Hanouna on the vaccination of children

On the Touche plateau not at my post, Cyril Hanouna opened the debate on the vaccination of children. Long refractory to the vaccine against Covid-19, the host has a strong opinion on the issue.

He sticks to his positions. While the Covid-19 pandemic is in full swing for a fifth wave, the government remains faithful to its line of conduct and calls more than ever on the French to be vaccinated. With a President of the Republic determined to “piss off” the unvaccinated, for parents, the question now is whether their children aged 5 to 11 should receive a dose of the vaccine. Open on a voluntary basis, the vaccination of children is today at the heart of the debates, while schools are considered as high places of transmission of the virus. But for Cyril Hanouna, out of the question to tick this box for his two children.

Already refractory to vaccination, for example “fear” injections and not the vaccine itself, the facilitator Do not touch My TV finally took the plunge last November, when until then, he was being “tested every two days”. However, for his children Lino and Bianca, out of the question for the moment that they are vaccinated. For me it’s no. Not the kids, he thus launched without detour in the emission of C8, Wednesday January 5. Martin Blachier, public health doctor regularly invited on television sets, supported Cyril Hanouna by claiming to have “three children in the target of five to eleven”, and not have “the intention to have them vaccinated”. The same goes for Benjamin Castaldi, who is against the vaccination of children.

Cyril Hanouna is “afraid that there is a risk”

If he did not express himself on his point of view on this subject, Cyril Hanouna had, last October, confided his ambivalent vision on this subject. “I want them to be able to see their grandparents safely but, at the same time, I’m afraid that there is a risk for them (…) Imagine there are negative effects, I would never forgive myself “, he had thus explained by evoking his two children, Lino and Bianca. Not antivax so far, the host had even explained that he did not close the door to these people, as evidenced by the invitations in his show on C8. “I am for the vaccination but I listen to the antivax. But I am for the vaccination. It is true that I am very afraid of all that. My father is also a doctor but here it is …”, he had specified.
