Outlander will soon be back for a very eventful season 7. Several new characters will be integrated, and one of them should overshadow Jamie.
Notice to those who have started to say “Sassenach” all over the place and to wear tartan print all year round since the release of the Outlander series in 2014. The Starz series will soon return to Netflix. Season 7 of Outlander is eagerly awaited by fans, and for good reason, season 6 had been shortened due to the pandemic which had paralyzed filming. In this new slew of episodes, subscribers will find their favorite characters and the Outlander actors who play them: Claire, Roger, Ian, Brianna, Fergus, Marsali, and of course Jamie. There will also be a host of newcomers: a Quaker doctor and his courageous sister, a kind-hearted prostitute, a deceitful co-worker and so on. And one of them just might eclipse the handsome James Fraser.
In season 7 of Outlander, the character of William Ransom, Duke of Ellesmere, will return. Remember, we saw him briefly as a child at Fraser’s Ridge. The character will be embodied by theCanadian actor Charles Vandervaart. And if you are nostalgic for Jamie from the first seasons of Outlander, you will no doubt fall for his son. Even though Outlander star Sam Heughan still holds a first place in our hearts, it goes without saying. Charles Vandervaart is 22 years old. The young actor was seen in particular in the Dangerous Alliance remakeand in the series October fashion, Holly Hobbie and The Stanley Dynamic.

What fate for William in Outlander season 7
If you haven’t read the novels by Diana Gabaldon which the series is inspired by, do not read on, because here we will reveal essential elements concerning the plot of season 7 of Outlander. THE illegitimate son of Jamie, and adopted son of John Gray, became an adult. He accompanies Lord John to the United States. The young man joins the loyalist army and fights the rebels, including his father and his cousin. Despite himself, he will find himself embarked on dangerous adventures, facing tribes of fierce Indians, and gangsters without faith or law. William will also discover the truth about his past and its origins. A news that will turn his life upside down and push him to put himself in danger.
We do not yet know what real place will be given to William in season 7. This must technically complete the events of the 6th book that have remained unresolved, and cover the very extensive 7th book by Diana Gabaldon. The channel has announced that this season will have 16 episodes, so we should have plenty of opportunities to see handsome William. There season 7 of Outlander is scheduled for June on Netflix.
