In recent months, Epic Games’ battle royale has evolved a lot. It is now possible to slide, break down doors or even climb walls, which was not the case before. But the movement system could still be reviewed and add new possibilities in the short term.
Double jump and wall running soon in Fortnite?
According to the well-informed HYPEX, three new movement mechanics would soon arrive in Fortnite. One would allow running on walls, which is quite odd for a game such as Fortniteanother to do a double jump and a last one, called “Jump Slide”, which remains quite enigmatic.

These new mechanics can, however, be integrated as part of reinforcements, the addition of which allows passive bonuses to be obtained during the game. So not all players would have access to these moves, only those who choose to be able to double jump, or run up walls via reinforcements.
Anyway, these changes will most likely be important in terms of gameplay, allowing you to get out of complicated situations. But with this new chapter, Epic Games wants to give a breath of fresh air to the battle royale, which is not so bad. Incidentally, the new vehicle, the motorcycle, is arguably the best that has been added so far.
