The mode Fortnite PvE welcomes some novelties through the update 22.30, including new alien weapons. Four weapons, quite original, are therefore added. Wildlife is also present, allowing you to ride wolves or wild boars, in particular to move faster. This is not the biggest update for Save the World mode.
THE FADE IN THE JAR
A new hero and a series of quests are coming to Save the World! Meet Brain, a new Constructor hero. Brain has the new advantage Frosted sorbet which allows his LURE to explode with an icy blast that freezes nearby enemies! Use the LURE with chilling traps and support perks to allow Brain to master the battlefield with cold blood.
To unlock Brain, you must complete the new quest series Melting the jar!
NEW ALIEN WEAPONS
Four new weapons arrive in Save the World during this update dedicated to Brain!
PULSOR PEST
This weapon is automatic when firing from the hip and the shots are slower when aiming. It deals energy damage. Obtain the Pulsorravager during the Molten Jar questline!
SHOOTING STAR
This submachine gun emits an uninterrupted beam of… stellar stuff. Shooting Star fires a continuous beam at the target. This weapon can also be obtained during the quest series Melted in the jar!
PLASMIC DISCHARGER
It’s plasmatic, it’s powerful, it hurts. This new weapon fires a slow ball of energy that scorches nearby objects and destroys any structure in its path. The Plasma Discharger will be available for purchase in the Item Shop from November 7, 2022 at 1:00 a.m. (CET).
THIRD RAIL
Load this high-tech sniper rifle to fire a powerful single shot. Great for dealing damage to enemies behind a wall. The Third Rail will be available for purchase in the Item Shop from November 14, 2022 at 1:00 a.m. (CET).
RIDE THE WILDLIFE!
Let your hero tame nature with the new wildlife mounted in Save the World! Ride a wolf or boar until it wears out or the damage it takes drains its stamina. The latter goes up over time as long as you don’t mount your pet, and it can be restored by giving it food. Charge with your boar and gore the Carcasses on your way, inflicting some damage along the way. If your creature’s HP is reduced to 0, it will be Knocked Out. Don’t worry, you can always revive her and get back in the saddle!
MAJOR BUGS FIXES
Several major bug fixes are included in the 22.30 update, including this one:
- Fixed an issue where PlayStation Trophies were not being unlocked by players on PlayStation 5.
