In September of last year, first dataminings revealed that the French RnB star was preparing a collaboration with Fortnite. It was to be a concert, rather modest since it would be limited to the salons of the Royal Party mode (nothing to do with the titanic shows of Travis Scott or Ariana Grande).
But through a handful of files from the latest 20.10 patch, some French-speaking leakers discovered thatAya Nakamura will be entitled to her own emote on Fortnite ! It will be a dance, inspired by the music “Copines”, released by Aya Nakamura in the summer of 2018.
Soon a concert in French
Still according to dataminers, the next concert in the Party Royale mode would be that of Aya Nakamura. The singer would therefore succeed Tones and I in the great festival “Sound waves” organized by Epic Games. This would be the first concert in French to be held on the Battle Royale, even if Epic Games has not yet given the date of the event.
As a reminder, the concerts as part of the “Sound Waves” festival are held in the Fête Royale mode, and have the particularity of being able to be watched again and again over several days.

On the other hand, this is not the first time that an emote imagined by a French-speaking artist has been released on Fortnite. Indeed, the emote Bim Bam Boom, inspired by the Jujufitcats video and Carla’s music video, has already appeared in the showcase. It had appealed to the FR community, and most certainly surprised non-French-speaking players, since the buzz of the video had mainly worked in France.
