After announcing the end of Chapter 3 of Fortnite, Epic Games returns to its players with the update 22.40. This one, rich in content, offers a new vehicle, the Octane, coming straight from Rocket League. A game mode and an object are also added. Octane arrives
Let’s start with the new vehicle, Octane. If that doesn’t ring a bell, this is simply one of Rocket League’s most popular speedsters, which is now under the Epic Games flag. Obviously, this is not a normal vehicle, since it will be possible to use supersonic speed and its jumps…
Grapple glider is available
If you want to easily escape from a complicated situation or simply rotate quickly and rather discreetly, you can bet on the grapple glider. By using it on a structure, you can then take out your glider. The item is available in chests and on the ground.
New temporary mode
If the Battle Royale mode no longer suits you, you can opt for Large-scale battle, which opposes two teams of 40 players. Each fighter starts the game with weapons and all the objects on the battlefield are of rare or higher quality, which allows for a fairly fast and energetic pace of the game.

IMPROVED INTERACTION AND USE ON MOBILE
- On mobile, we have completely removed the interact icon (shaped like a hand) from the fire button. Use actions (such as drinking or eating) will now each have a specific icon.
MAJOR BUGS FIXES
- Fixed an issue that caused some Battle Pass outfits from the previous season to be missing colors.
