On the way to being a lifesaver
The fact is that “Leo”, who comes from animal welfare, leaves a big gap not only with his foster family. The Labrador mix, only nine months old, was on the way to becoming a real lifesaver. His owner is active with the Lower Austria rescue dogs and was currently in the process of training the four-legged friend to search for areas. “He was just taught to report when he smells human smells,” explains rescue dog manager Karin Kuhn. One of her dogs was also the victim of a poison attack some time ago: “Luckily he made it out.”
