(CercleFinance.com) – According to the estimate made at the end of the month by Insee, consumer prices are set to increase by 4.8% in April 2022, after +4.5% the previous month.
‘ This rise in inflation would be due to an acceleration in the prices of services, food and manufactured goods. Energy prices should remain sharply up over one year,’ indicates INSEE.
Over one month, consumer prices should increase by 0.4%, after +1.4% in March. The rise in food prices should be more sustained than in the previous month.
Over one year, the harmonized consumer price index would increase by 5.4% according to INSEE, after +5.1% in March. Over one month, it rose by 0.5%, after +1.6% the previous month.
