With a fundraising of 254 million euros, PayFit enters the circle of French unicorns. The company focused on human resources will pass the milestone of 1,000 employees in 2022.

Specializing in human resources management and payroll automation, PayFit announced early Wednesday that it had raised 254 million euros – which makes the young company, created in 2015, a new French unicorn, the 23e. This new lift will give wings to the company, which is present in France, Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom.

PayFit, on the highway to success

Now valued at 1.82 billion euros, PayFit intends to push its limits a little further. Always driven by the desire to facilitate the complex missions of payroll and human resources management, the French company has ambitions. The company already employs 700 people, its “PayFiters” as it calls them, and it intends to recruit 400 more in 2022. Its growing number of customers (more than 6,000 companies from its four markets) is pushing it to step up. . And the growth of 70% of its turnover in 2021 as well as the latest fundraising can only give it a little more momentum.

A French and accessible solution

This latest financial windfall will also help PayFit to continue its development in its existing markets, by offering its technology to millions of French and European VSEs and SMEs, to support them in their digitalization. Today, 80% of the company’s customers are French.

PayFit stands out from its competitors in the sense that the company makes accessible what is not necessarily accessible at the base. Thus, it is not useful to surround yourself with a financial expert or an accounting firm to manage your company’s payroll system. PayFit also automatically adapts to regulatory changes, preventing its customers from being trapped by unpleasant surprises.
