France team: Paul Pogba had his world champion medal stolen

A week ago, Paul Pogba was the victim of a burglary at his British home, located in Manchester. And his world champion medal, won with the France team in 2018, is one of the valuables stolen.

At the time of the events, the tricolor midfielder was at Old Trafford for the 8th comeback of the Champions League lost to Atlético Madrid (0-1). And the criminals took advantage of his absence to break into his house. If they only stayed a few minutes, they had time to get their hands on precious objects.

“On returning home, I find my home broken into after the intrusion of three people who stole my safe. There were jewels from my mother, my world champion medal…”, he confided in an interview with Figaro. But more than the stolen goods, Paul Pogba, who hastened to return home with his wife, was above all worried about his children.

“What scared me the most was that my two children were at home with the nanny during this incident. She overheard everything, called my wife and security, then locked herself and the boys in a room. For several days, she was shocked. The main thing is that my children are well,” said the native of the Paris region.

Marked by this event, Paul Pogba had launched an appeal for witnesses in the hours following the burglary to collect as many clues as possible in order to find the culprits, promising a reward to people who would be likely to help him. As for the world champion medal, Paul Pogba will try to win a new one in a few months in Qatar with the Blues.
