PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–France’s trade balance deficit reached 8 billion euros in January, after 11.4 billion euros in December, according to figures published Monday by the General Directorate of Customs. .
This decrease in the deficit is explained by the increase in exports, to which is added a slight decline in imports.
In January, exports stood at 47.3 billion euros, after 44.2 billion euros the previous month. For their part, imports stood at 55.3 billion euros against 55.6 billion euros in December.
