(CercleFinance.com) – France’s trade balance showed a deficit of 9.73 billion euros for November 2021, compared to a deficit of 7.70 billion the previous month, according to data Customs administration CVS-CJO.
This month-on-month widening reflects a 5.3% growth in French imports, to just over 53.7 billion euros, a growth stronger than the 1.6% increase in exports, to 44 billion.
‘On a three-month moving average, the external balance of goods fell again sharply in November and reached -9.0 billion, the lowest level ever reached’, points out Bercy, which blames the rise in commodity prices, in particular energetic.
