At “Markus Lanz” the guests discussed climate change. Frank Thelen said: “We should actually get rid of the currywurst.”

“Any death we have to die”: Investor Frank Thelen (46) spoke out on Thursday evening at “Markus Lanz” in favor of not using meat and fish products. The group discussed climate change. “I love my steak and my burger,” Thelen explained on the TV show, adding that the consumption of meat and fish, with the energy it consumes, is “a huge problem”: “Well, we should actually get rid of currywurst “concludes the entrepreneur.

“A lot of people find that ugly, I myself too,” said Thelen: “But if I look at it realistically (…) that we all no longer eat meat or fish, that’s stupid, but I think that would still be makeable.”

Otherwise, Frank Thelen places a lot of hope in technical progress in order to open up new sources of technology, as he explained. In addition to host Markus Lanz and the investor, science journalist Prof. Harald Lesch, civil engineer Lamia Messari-Becker and economist Marcel Fratzscher discussed the show.
