In “Schlag den Star” Max Kruse should compete against Frederick Lau. Now the actor had to cancel at short notice.
“Beat the Star” will not take place this Saturday as planned. One of the candidates canceled at short notice. The broadcaster ProSieben announced on Twitter: “Frederick Lau has a positive #Corona test. Unfortunately, he cannot compete in #SchlagDenStar tomorrow.” The 32-year-old actor was supposed to play against professional soccer player Max Kruse (33).
The fans don’t have to do without the show or the actor entirely. The tweet continues: “We still promise a strong duel tomorrow – and look forward to Freddy Lau in one of the next issues.”
Who will replace Lau?
In his Instagram stories, Lau showed his positive test result, with a sad emoji underneath. It is not yet known who will stand in for him when it is up to 15 rounds of “Beat the Star” again for 100,000 euros. Elton (50) moderates the show, Ron Ringguth (55) comments
