The Player Free Devialet is now available for rental for subscribers Freebox Delta
and Pop.
Free announced via a tweet a brand new offer for its subscribers. After being available for purchase only for a long time, the Devialet decoder is now open for rental, and at an advantageous rate for new Frebox Delta subscribers.
The high-end Free decoder finally available for rental
The Player Devialet is the result of a collaboration between the high-end hi-fi manufacturer and the French mobile operator Free. Composed of six speakers intended to produce exceptional sound, the speaker is also compatible with Alexa, and of course also acts as a TV box. At the time of its launch in 2018, it was possible to acquire it for €480 or after a payment of €10 per month for 48 months.
However, Free announced via its Twitter account that new Freebox Delta subscribers can now rent this Player for €6.99 per month for the first year, then €9.99, without any purchase option. The offer is valid for any subscription made before February 28th.
The Player is also available for rental for existing Freebox Delta and Freebox Pop subscribers, for €9.99 per month. This offer is non-binding and does not currently have a deadline; however, it is not yet visible on the Freebox Pop subscriber area.
Note also that the rental price of the Apple TV 4K offered by Free has meanwhile increased slightly, from €2 to €2.99 per month for 48 months.
