What is this smartphone from OnePlus?
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is a mid-range model with good finishes. It doesn’t stand out with its classic design, but its dimensions of 165.5 × 76 × 8.33 mm and a weight of 195 g make it one of the largest smartphones in its price range. Even if the buttons are well placed, smaller hands will struggle with the ergonomics. For others, the grip is pretty good.
The Full HD+ LCD panel with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels comes with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The brightness is good and the screen is perfectly readable in all conditions. Watching video content is pleasant, especially with the 6.72-inch screen. Be careful, however, with the default colorimetry, which is much too cold, and which completely distorts the colors. A change in the settings is necessary to give a little warmth to the whole thing. The Snapdragon 695 chip coupled with 8 GB of RAM provides good performance. The menus and applications are fluid, and everything runs perfectly well under OxygenOS.
Is this OnePlus smartphone worth it for the French Days?
Less than €200 for a large smartphone that includes the essentials is a good deal. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite has four sensors, including a 108 Mpx main one. Once again, colorimetry does not benefit the smartphone. The photos also lack sharpness even in broad daylight. The average quality of the shots is noticeable, especially at night or in low light. The smartphone can also film in Full HD at 30 fps, but without stabilization.
In terms of autonomy, the 5,000 mAh battery can easily last a whole day. The OnePlus regains 100% battery in 45 minutes, thanks to the 67W charger.
