Jens "Knossi" Knossalla will be the permanent presenter of the late-night show "Daily freshly roasted". In 2020 he was there as a guest host.

The well-known live streamer Jens "Knossi" Knossalla (34) can look forward to his own late night show. The entertainer continues the TVNow format "Freshly Roasted Daily" as a permanent presenter. Last year, prominent hosts who were pulled through the cocoa by a well-known roaster alternated per episode. Knossalla was also seen as the host – according to TVNow 2020, his episode was by far the most successful on the streaming service. With a permanent presenter and a free TV premiere, the format produced by Stefan Raab (54) is now starting a new season.

"I fought for more than ten years to host a late-night show and now the time has come. I'm really looking forward to working with my idol Stefan Raab," said Knossalla happily in a statement about his new job. The permanent presenter will continue to regularly give other celebrities the opportunity to lead through the show "and thus prove their previously undiscovered host talent," says the TVNow announcement.

Late night program following the jungle show

The first two episodes of "Daily Freshly Roasted" will be broadcast live on January 26th and 28th and will be shown on RTL at 11:15 pm after "Ich bin ein Star – Die große Jungle Show" TVNow then makes the shows available for download. From February, the late-night show can always be streamed in advance on TVNow on Mondays and Wednesdays; on RTL it will be broadcast one day later (Tuesdays and Thursdays) at 11:15 p.m.

Jens "Knossi" Knossalla describes himself as the "King of the Internet" and usually appears with a crown. It has 1.3 million fans on Instagram and 1.19 million YouTube subscribers, and on Twitch it also reaches countless live viewers. There he celebrated successes with rapper Sido (40) with a fishing and horror camp for Halloween.
