Friends: Reunion postponed to March 2021

What takes a long time will finally be good: Almost a year late, the big "Friends" reunion will take place in spring 2021.

For "Friends" fans it would certainly have been the highlight of the year. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the planned TV reunion of Jennifer Aniston (51), Courteney Cox (56), Lisa Kudrow (57), Matt LeBlanc (53), David Schwimmer (54) and Matthew Perry (53) had to be canceled . The latter made a new announcement on Twitter: The reunion will take place – in the coming year.

According to Perry, the recording is planned for the beginning of March 2021. The actor did not reveal any further details in his post. He was just happy: "Looks like we have a busy year ahead of us – just the way I like it!"

In the original studio with a live audience?

It remains to be seen whether the "Friends" reunion will take place in the original studio in California as originally planned. It was announced before the actual date that the series stars would come together without scripts. Together they should review their time as Rachel (Aniston), Monica (Cox), Phoebe (Kudrow), Joey (LeBlanc), Ross (swimmer) and Chandler (Perry) and share old anecdotes and personal highlights – and that in front of a live audience.
