Despite a slow start, Jurassic World Evolution 2 is approaching the million copies sold since its release on November 9 and therefore acts as a major contributor to this turnover of 59 million euros. The net result is however disappointing as Frontier goes from a profit of 7.7 million euros to a loss of close to 2 million euros. Based on a license that does not belong to him, Jurassic World Evolution 2 makes less money to Frontier than the sales of its original creations like Planet coaster Where Planet Zoo, but the publisher places this loss above all in the exceptional charges account.
Frontier also recalls that its Elite Dangerous had a delicate year 2021 due to the disappointment and poor results of the big Odyssey expansion last May. “We continue to support the game and our passionate players with development updates, and we have seen an increase in player confidence.“, notes Frontier all the same.
The management of F1 in 2022, Warhammer Age of Sigmar not before 2023-2024
For Frontier, 2022 will see the announcement and release of its first management game. Formula 1, franchise which will then be the subject of an annual exit.
