After five seasons between 1999 and 2003 on the foxthen two more between 2008 and 2013 on Comedy Centralit was announced last year that Futurama would soon be back with new episodes. They will be broadcast on Hulu in the United States, and as the chain belongs to the group disneyon Disney+ In France.
The wait won’t be long, because the release date of the first episode of this season 8 has just been made official. Matt Groening’s series will therefore resume on July 24, 2023 with a 141st episode called The Impossible Streamwhich will be offered from the same day on Disney+ by us. We will then be entitled to an episode each week for a first salvo of 10 adventures, which will be followed by a second of as many chapters later, certainly not before 2024.
Billy West (Fry, Zoidberg), Katey Sagal (Leela), Lauren Tom (Amy), John DiMaggio (bender), Tress MacNeille (Mom and many others), Maurice LaMarche (love and many others), Phil LaMarr (Hermes) and David Herman will all be back to dub the English version, and can already be heard very briefly in the very first teaser of season 8. Difficult to detect what debilities we reserve these 20 new episodes, but the surprise will be all the more beautiful.
