“Gabriel Attal was never harassed”, Juan Branco defends himself following the minister’s testimony

Juan Branco spoke after Gabriel Attal’s testimony. The minister revealed that he had been the victim of school harassment this Sunday, November 5. Information denied by the famous lawyer.

War is declared between Juan Branco and Gabriel Attal. A conflict which does not date from yesterday. This Sunday November 5, the Minister of National Education spoke at length in the program Seven to Eight. Without naming his tormentor, Gabriel Attal reveals having been the victim of school harassment. “He posted photos of my friends, and he was going to post comments, usurping my identity, to insult them. His goal was to isolate me,” says the minister, referring to a Skyblog.

Gabriel Attal reveals that he also received homophobic insults. “It was ‘faggot’, ‘tafiole’, ‘tarlouze’. It was about a supposed sexual orientation at the time, since I didn’t talk about it around me”, he explains. And this ordeal would have lasted a long time since he found his harasser on the benches of Sciences Po. “It was afterwards, when I got involved in politics, that I understood that he didn’t want to let go of me. When I was appointed to the government, he posted messages on social networks, referring to my homosexuality.

Juan Branco responds to Gabriel Attal’s accusations

As a reminder, Juan Branco revealed the homosexuality of Gabriel Attal in his book entitled Dusk in 2019. But the media lawyer firmly denies having harassed the minister. On the social network X, Juan Branco writes: “Gabriel Attal has never been harassed. Gaby was in fact one of the most violent classmates you could imagine (…) he attacked without restraint those more fragile than himself, multiplying the repeated jokes about the homeless, the poor, public schools… and claiming with haughtiness and contempt his superiority.

But that’s not all. Juan Branco published numerous messages to deny point by point the testimony of the Minister of National Education. He considers that “Gabriel Attal has just set up a victimization operation on TF1 (…) to try to give a veneer of legitimacy to his communication plan on harassment”. Two relatively opposing speeches!
