Galaxy S21 FE at o2: Bundle with Galaxy Buds shortly before the start of sales

With the Galaxy S21 FE, Samsung offers an alternative to its S21 models from 2021! You benefit from a real telecamera, the Snapdragon 888 and a larger display. The S21 FE is now included in the contract with the Samsung Galaxy Buds from the cell phone provider o2. In the tariff check, we put together everything you need to know one day before the official start of sales.

From tomorrow morning, Samsung will be putting the new Galaxy S21 FE on store shelves. You have been able to pre-order the last model of the S21 series released last year for some time. Like many other providers on the net, o2 puts a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 on top of it for free. Together with a 100 euro exchange bonus and high network quality, this results in a tempting offer.

In the following tariff check, we check how good the CO2 deal actually is. Do you wonder why Samsung is introducing a new cell phone shortly before the release of the S22 series? Then read through our release news for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. In a nutshell, Samsung sells an S21 model with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 for 749 euros. As a further advantage, you benefit from a telecamera that uses optical magnification instead of digital zoom. Convinced? Then it’s off to the tariffs.

Galaxy S21 FE in the Galaxy Buds 2 bundle at o2

Although Samsung only presented the Galaxy S21 FE a few days ago, you only pay a deposit of one euro for the smartphone at o2. As already mentioned, the mobile operator also puts the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 on top. The in-ear headphones would cost you just under 90 euros in addition to the mobile phone price of 749 euros. I am therefore counting on effective hardware costs of 839 euros in the following.

With the o2 contracts, it is essential to note that 5G support only starts with the o2 Free Unlimited Basic. Here the bandwidth is limited to 2 Mb / s, which is why I would at least advise you to use the “o2 Free M” mobile phone contract. You pay 1,025.74 euros over a two-year period with a switching bonus – if you deduct the device costs from this, you still have 185.74 euros left for the contract.

For comparison: The O2 Free M costs you a regular 34.99 euros per month. With the connection fee you pay 879.75 euros without a mobile phone, from which you have to deduct another 100 euros. With the o2 Free M, this means effective device costs of 245.99 euros. I think it’s a good deal. Whether you prefer to wait for the Galaxy S22 lineup if you are bound to a cell phone for two years is of course up to you.
