After the merger two years ago, the changes are now continuing. A new logo, a new name and a whole new shopping experience will now be available at Galeria. The names Karstadt and Kaufhof are dropped.
We want to become the networked heart of the city center
After thousands of employees were laid off last year, the ailing department store empire wants to turn this around – and is now presenting the new concept. 600 million euros are to be invested in this and up to 60 of the company’s 131 houses will be converted over the next few years.
