Apex Legends has just launched a collaboration with Final Fantasy VII: initially, players were rather delighted with such a partnership before realizing the rarity of certain items, requiring them to spend astronomical sums.

Among the most popular Battle Royales, Apex Legends continues its merry way with confidence and above all, with all the necessary support from Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment. To bring their baby to life, the development studio and the publisher go through the partnership box from time to time and most recently, the Americans collaborated with the Japanese from Square Enix by offering a crossover with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
You are no doubt aware that the famous RPG will be released very soon – February 29 on PS5, to be precise – and Apex Legends players have had the happy surprise of seeing many skin items arriving in their precious FPS. This unique and temporary event allows you to get your hands on a few free items, but many others are obviously available for payment… and that’s where things get tricky.

To better explain this unfortunate situation to you, this featuring offers to purchase Packs which include Final Fantasy objects in Apex Legends. In total, There are thirty-six items to unlock and each pack allows you to obtain a small handful completely randomly.
The problem is that two objects in particular pose a problem: the first concerns the “Crushing Sword R5” skin, which is none other than Cloud’s legendary sword. This has less than a 1% chance of appearing in a pack, which makes it almost impossible to find: knowing that a pack costs ten euros and that it is possible to obtain a few reductions here and there, you then have to spend around hundreds and hundreds of euros to hope to fall on the sword (unless you’re lucky, that goes without saying).
History repeats itself for another item, One-Winged Angel frag crate : this time, this can only be obtained after having unlocked the 36 items of the collaboration. Rebelotte: it is approximately the sum of 300 euros that you then have to spend. Unsurprisingly, the pill is not working for players, even those most invested in Apex Legends who see it as a total abuse on the part of the studio and the publisher and who are making their dissatisfaction known across the web. And we understand them.
