Gboard: finally a pleasant keyboard on a tablet

Google has unveiled a new Gboard virtual keyboard for tablets. In preparation for its Pixel Tablet expected for next year, the Android publisher has announced a version more suitable for large screens of its keyboard. This will stretch further in height with a simpler display and larger keys for large tablet screens. The layout of some keys has also changed, as has access to emojis.

Wear OS: why you should pay attention to updates

As Google prepares to officially launch its Pixel Watch, the manufacturer – also wear OS 3 developer – has provided more information on the management of updates on its operating system. While, until Wear OS 2, the publisher itself took care of the update programs for connected watches, it is now up to each manufacturer to update their smartwatches. Thus, if Samsung announced up to four years of updates for its Galaxy Watch, Google indicates that its Pixel Watch will be updated for three years.

Microsoft Surface Pro 9: muscle, 5G and a smarter 120 Hz screen

This Wednesday, Microsoft organized its event dedicated to Surface computers and tablets. The main novelty was the new Surface Pro 9 tablet, a light but substantial evolution of the range to celebrate 10 years of Surface at Microsoft. This tablet is thus equipped with a 120 Hz screen, a version with ARM processor and 5G connectivity (or an Intel Alder Lake Core i5 or i7 processor), a 13-inch display and storage that can go up to 512 Ho.
