GECI INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES THE SALE OF A BUSINESS
GECI International, a specialist in Digital and Technology, announces the sale of a business, as part of its refocusing strategy.
This operation concerns the entire Telecom consulting and engineering activity in France of the Eolen Group, including the transfer of personnel and commercial contracts, and was concluded with the company Smart4 Systems, which has the specific skills to ensure continuity of services to existing customers and will continue development in an optimal manner.
The transaction, finalized on March 21, 2024, was carried out on the basis of a sale price of €1.7 million with an additional earn-out of €0.2 million. During the 2022-23 financial year, the sold business generated a turnover of €2.8 million and represented a workforce of 25 people. It will be deconsolidated from the accounts of the GECI International Group from March 1, 2024.
This new dynamic of refocusing on its main activities – High Performance Computing (HPC), IT Consulting and Technologies – allows GECI International to pursue its development strategy, particularly in promising markets such as Big Data, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, as well as the Smart City and its associated systems.
