"Ingeniously next to it" now means "ingeniously or next to it?" and has a new studio and a new gameplay – only the moderators remain the same.
The ratings for the Sat.1 quiz show "Genial besides – The Quiz" weakened recently, now the broadcaster is tightening its look and concept. From August 31st the show will be called "Genial oder Beseben?" and broadcasts Monday to Friday at 7:00 p.m. from a new studio and with new rules of the game, as stated in a press release.

Still under the supervision of Hugo Egon Balder (70), Hella von Sinnen (61), Wigald Boning (53) and prominent guests, a pair of candidates fights for up to 6,000 euros each. The course of the game: In six rounds each correct answer can win 500 euros, in the final the previous winnings can be doubled.
The candidates are supported by the celebrities who puzzles and give tips in the comedy panel. Announced as guests are among others Caroline Frier (37, "Everything was count"), Ilka Bessin (48, "Cindy from Marzahn"), Jürgen von der Lippe (72), Michael Mittermeier (54), Ralf Moeller (61, " Gladiator ") and Smudo (52," MfG ") from the Fantastischen Vier.
