(AOF) – GenSight Biologics announced the appointment of Laurence Rodriguez as Chief Executive Officer. The biotech specialist in gene therapies for retinal neurodegenerative diseases and central nervous system disorders specifies that the former manager of Sanofi Genzyme joined GenSight Biologics in May 2021, as Director of Operations for France. She thus managed the early access program with a view to the commercialization of Lumevoq and created solid and trusting relationships with the various stakeholders.
The board of directors thanks Bernard Gilly, co-founder of the company in 2012 alongside Professor José-Alain Sahel, for “his many years of dedication”. He will remain a director of the company although no longer assumes operational responsibilities.
