In the Buzz TV of Figaro, Wednesday February 2, 2022, the doctor and health columnist Gérald Kierzek explained why he could carry out his work within Koh-Lanta. He revealed that he had been approached by Denis Brogniart.
While the new season of Koh Lanta will be broadcast from February 22, 2022, in the Buzz-TV from Figaro, Dr. Gérald Kierzek recalled how much he was a big fan of this show. If he has been very regularly on television sets since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, he assured that for him, Koh Lanta was a good program that allowed viewers to have a little happiness in their daily lives. “I think Koh-Lanta is almost therapeutic. We also salute the friend Denis Brogniart, who is positive, sporty, a good example ultimately of what to do“, he thus explained. Moreover, the health columnist on TF1 and LCI could in turn embark on the adventure.
Indeed, he explained that the famous host of TF1 had offered him to join the team of doctors of the adventure show. “Denis had offered it to me at some point“, he confided before launching a call for the production of the game. “We should manage to do that with TF1 and AL. After, it has to be compatible with the on-call schedule, but it would be quite fun to do that.” Thus, Gérald Kierzek does not close the door to participate one day in Koh-Lanta, as a doctor.
Gérald Kierzek wants to be reassuring about the dangerousness of the Koh-Lanta events
He explained that the candidates, who are chosen and who do not present health problems, do not run any risk by participating in the program. “These are people who have a physical condition“. If the fatigue and the lack of food must be complicated to manage, he wanted to remind that the doctors were present. “These are very supervised events from a medical point of view. There is a medical team following the candidates, which is on site.” In any case, he is convinced.
