Thursday March 31, 2022, Gérard Darmon was invited to the show En aparté, on Canal +. Claiming to be very resentful, the actor agreed to discuss his estrangement with Marc Lavoine, with whom he had played in the first two parts of the Heart of men.
Their relationship is not likely to work out… Monday, February 7, 2022, on the set ofAs an aside, Marc Lavoine had revealed to be cold with Gérard Darmon. Invited on the same show a few weeks later, the 74-year-old actor replied: “What do you want me to tell you? We’re not going to wash our dirty laundry. If it’s their specialty, me, it’s not mine. Everyone sweeps in front of their door. Me, I have a clear conscience. If he talks about it, he must have something to be ashamed of.“While he did not film in the third part of the heart of men, Could Gérard Darmon make an appearance in a fourth film in the saga? “No chance ! In full disclosure, the actor explained, “There is something that unfortunately I can’t improve on myself, it’s resentment. Sometimes I am quite resentful. And resentment is terrible, because you have the impression that as time goes by, it withers, it gets forgotten. Actually not at all. When we meet the object of this grudge, not only do we have the same, but it is a little improved. I say this to the director of Le Coeur des hommes and some of the actors.” Not liking pretense, Gérard Darmon added to conclude: “So good, ten years later, we can play: ‘Ah, I’m nostalgic’, saying: ‘I would like to turn the four, the five, the six’. Yes, but anyway, all this does not make sense. It’s not serious.“
