In a relationship with Julie Depardieu – who gave him two children – since their meeting on the set of the film “I am a no man’s land” in 2010, the interpreter of “Louxor j’adore” began by admitting to getting along very well. well with the father of his companion. Especially when it comes to food. “It still revolves a lot around what we are going to eat. You never stray too far from food, ”he says.
Before recognizing in Gérard Depardieu a real talent for cooking, as well as a taste for cleanliness once the meal is consumed. “He cooks very well, he has it in his skin. And I can tell you that everything is polished. The dishes are made by hand. As soon as it’s finished, everything is clean, there is no need to come back to it, ”he continues.
Drawing therapy
Philippe Katerine also acknowledges having a deep admiration for Gérard Depardieu, whom he considers to be an artist in his own right. “He is a completely astonishing being. There are actors like that who are artists, who make you see life differently, life like you’ve never seen it before. And that’s still a great quality, ”says the singer of 53 years.
The one he nicknames “grandpa” can however show himself, on occasion, in a darker light when he happens to get carried away. But Philippe Katerine managed to find the solution thanks to the drawing, by giving him a blank sheet and a pencil. “It’s an excessive drawing, a drawing provided, very swirling, but I see that it is very good when he draws because we arrive at a descent”, he says.
