In the eighth episode of GNTM, the girls have to pose in a rotating cube and learn to dance on high heels like Beyoncé.
It gets dangerous in the eighth episode of “Germany’s Next Top Model” (March 25th, 8:15 pm on ProSieben): First in neon colors and in a rotating set, then in corsets and high heels and on a slippery catwalk. In addition, the girls compete in groups this week. This time there will also be a present for the best of each group.
The first photo shoot, photographed by Pamela Hanson (67), takes place in a black square with four chambers that rotates completely overhead. So the girls have to climb and pose at the same time. Even if the challenge and fear is great at first, the girls in their neon looks have a lot of fun posing with shifting gravity. The best is – as always – Soulin (20), who gets the prize for her group.
But the good mood is quickly clouded when Heidi Klum (47) announces that Jasmine (21), who has been in the hospital since the last episode because of her lupus disease, is leaving the show. The fact that Soulin then sits in a corner to have a moment arouses speculation among the girls. Blasphemy sister Linda (20): “I can only repeat it, Soulin is doing a show for me. Period, off, end.” Alex (23) now sees it that way too. “Sometimes I doubt the intensity of her emotions,” she ponders and wants to address “lone warrior” Soulin again later.
But first the work, then the private. Heidi is disappointed with gymnast Alysha (19). “I’m surprised that you don’t stand out as a gymnast at all. I expected more, Alysha.” Everyone is positively surprised by the underdog Elisa (20), who offers one strong pose after the other: “I think basically I was underestimated from the start. But that’s nothing new to me, it was somehow always like that in my life.” Not any longer longer. Back in the loft, the winners of the individual groups will find their prize: a beauty box and shopping vouchers worth 1000 euros each. Lots of money for the young women. Elisa, who distributes the things from her box directly to the other girls: “Far too blatant, I would have been happy about 100 euros!”
Alex confronts Soulin
Not all are so harmoniously on the way. Alex confronts Soulin in private: “I had the feeling that you only cried in front of the cameras when it came to Jasmin. […] It’s not cool to use that. “Soulin, clarified:” To be honest, I don’t even want to know how it affected you, because it’s not my intention how it affects you. “For Alex, it is Though eaten with it, she warns Soulin about the gossip: “How the others think, you have to clarify yourself …” Soulin sees it differently: “I don’t have to clarify anything. Next up is dancing: choreographer Sonja Bartuccelli introduces the girls to the art of high heels dancing. By the next day they should have rehearsed a performance for which they dance with high heels on and around a chair and douse themselves with a bucket of water. The top priority is body awareness and the total absence of insecurity. And this is particularly evident in the sexy movements. Even with Soulin. While the favorite says confidently that she feels “sexy from top to bottom”, the teacher notes: “She seems very self-confident, but when I dance I notice that there is still uncertainty.”
Alex also has problems finding herself in the role of the sexy dancer. “It’s hard for me to point my finger somewhere and say, that’s what I like about me.” Which, however, has nothing to do with her transsexuality, as she clarifies in an interview with Ana (20): “Everyone will think that because I am transsexual, I am ashamed or do not feel feminine or something … But that has nothing to do with it To do. If I were born a girl, it would also be that I wouldn’t have felt comfortable doing it. ” A problem that the devout Ana also has, who at first feels extremely uncomfortable with the sensual choreography. “Try to free yourself there,” advises the coach. Elisa, on the other hand, stands out again: “You can still orientate yourself if you practice”, praises the dance teacher.

The next day, they finally go on stage with corsage, tights and high heels. In addition to Heidi Klum, the jury is the transgender and Victoria’s Secret model Valentina Sampaio (24). In addition to the clean execution of the choreography and the individual walks, there are still some hurdles to overcome this time: the bucket of water that sometimes lands on the body, sometimes directly on the face, the slippery catwalk and, as in the case of Mareike (25), the silence. She is the last in the group, but the song is over by then. “You looked a little silly,” said Sampaio. For Alex, on the other hand, there is praise: “I could send you into the world of fashion without hesitation,” says Heidi. “I could imagine that Alex could be in the final.”
Ana has meanwhile also really whipped herself into her new role as femme fatale: “I was just waiting to be able to pull on this bucket to finally have my moment. You could only feel sexy!”, She says after her performance excited. The guest juror will then choose her as the best of the group. “Those days with the cute little mouse are slowly over, now this is sexy Ana.”
Some fall, but Alysha falls the deepest
In the third group, Alysha in particular has to fight, she gets a bucket of water in her nose and mouth and looks “totally lost” on the catwalk, says Sampaio. After the disappointing performance in the cube, the journey is over for her: Heidi has no photo for her. “I would say that a little dream has been shattered,” says the redhead.
When it is the turn of the last group, the catwalk is already completely wet. Liliana (21) slides down the catwalk, Ashley (22) falls on her bum, Linda can barely catch herself – only Elisa seems to have extra grip under her high heels. She is clearly the best dancer and the best runner. “Elisa is so amazing”, even Linda has to admit. “It is one that is really taking off now.” Heidi sees it the same way: “You have found your way from midfield to the top.”
