Germany's next top model: Winner Jacky still can't believe her triumph

Ironically, the successor Jacky Wruck (21) won the title as "Germany's next top model" last Thursday. Immediately after the triumph she stepped in front of the ProSieben cameras and said: "It doesn't matter up there. (…) Everything is really spinning in my head." And even Friday morning as a guest on "Sat.1 breakfast television", she had not yet fully processed her "GNTM" victory.

"Coming in as a successor and then going out as a winner, that's just really great," she said, reviewing her meteoric rise under the strict eyes of Heidi Klum (46). Since she repeatedly demonstrated her love for animals during the 15th season, the question of her future plans was obvious – so far Jacky worked as a veterinary specialist and not as a model. She did not want to leave her old life behind completely and could also imagine going back to her old job if, contrary to expectations, it should not turn out to be a modeling career.

In any case, Jacky can imagine himself as the quota queen. It was the most successful "GNTM" final since 2013. The show reached 21.4 percent of 14- to 49-year-old viewers. With a season average of 18.4 percent market share, ProSieben celebrates the best season in eight years.
