Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut: the PC version already singled out, PlayStation is booed

Since Sony Interactive Entertainment has implemented its new system on PC (allowing you to recover trophies via a PSN account), it’s a mess on the games side PlayStation on PC. Helldiverse 2 was at the center of all conversations in recent weeks due to various restrictions; fortunately, the Japanese firm has reversed course.

Obviously, the players asked themselves some questions regarding the arrival of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on computer. To reassure everyone, the team Sucker Punch took the floor by stipulating that “a PSN account is required for the Legends online multiplayer mode and to use the PlayStation overlay, and that the PSN is not necessary to play solo”. Except it’s different…

Indeed, we learn through SteamDB that several countries will not be able to benefit from this laptop ; those who are not supported by the PSN, you would have understood it. Except that, the problem, the title could be reserved almost everywhere… Will the buyer living in a “banned” country not be able to recover his dues? Well Steambefore the release of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cutsimply made the decision of refund players now and remove pre-orders from territories where the PSN is not available.

You receive a refund for a production that you have pre-purchased – Ghost of Tsushima. The publisher now requires a secondary account to play certain parts of this title, and this account cannot be created from your country.

Sucker Punch who says yes, PlayStation who says no, enough to lose your mind, we agree. Why not simply offer this experience on various platforms without PSNto be able to enjoy single-player mode (as is the case with God of War, Spiderman, etc.) ? In any case and just like other publishers, one day or another you will have to create an account PSN to play games SIE on PC (but when?). In the meantime, let’s remember that the release date of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is set for May 16, 2024.

You can book Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on Gamesplanet for €53.99.
