Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik broke up in a flash after a family quarrel and alleged fights against Gigi’s mother Yolanda.
Supermodel Gigi Hadid, 26, and singer Zayn Malik, 28, have been a couple since 2015 and are the parents of daughter Khai, 1. After the first media outlets reported that there was an argument between Zayn Malik and Gigi’s mother Yolanda Hadid, 57, is said to have come, in the course of which Zayn is said to have caught and hit Yolanda, it is now known that Gigi and Zayn are said to have separated.

Several sources have told People Magazine that the 26-year-old supermodel and the 28-year-old singer have split up. “They split up, but they are both good parents,” affirmed a friend of the Hadid family. “Yolanda is of course very protective of her daughter Gigi. She wants the best for Gigi and her grandchild.” TMZ reports that ex-model Yolanda Hadid is even considering filing a complaint against Zayn Malik after allegedly beating her in an argument. Zayn Malik, however, vehemently denies the allegations October 2021, he describes the allegations as “false accusations.” In a statement shared on Twitter, Malik says he wants to “create a place where private family matters are not immediately exposed to the world.” He added that the incident “was and should still be a private matter”.
Gigi Hadid makes an official statement
“Gigi only focuses on what is best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time,” Gigi’s spokesman said in a statement to People Magazine. Gigi and Zayn both want to continue to be there for their daughter Khai, who is now 13 months old. In September, the couple threw her their first birthday party. The couple had already separated in 2018, when Zayn wrote about the relationship in a statement: “Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and funny relationship and I have great respect and honor Gigi as a wife and friend,” Malik wrote at the time. Gigi Hadid added, “Breakup reports often come across as impersonal because there is really no way to put into words what two people have experienced over a few years. I am forever grateful for the love, time, and life lessons that Z and I have shared. I want only the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend for whom I have great respect and love. As for the future, everything will be as it should be. XG ”
